Scranton’s Home for Live Local Music!
Late Night Concert on the Fringe
Rated R (21+)
Daniel Amedee / Family Animals /A Social State
Enjoy a mix of local and touring musicians at Scranton’s home for original music! Daniel Amedee hails from New Orleans and performs music that is meditative with an edge. Daniel’s quirky, eccentric songwriting style is informed by a haunting bluesy vocalese that scratches the soul somewhere between Tom Waits and Captain Beefheart. Family Animals are eccentric basement rock, taking anything and everything they can from different aspects of the musical universe, and conjuring music of their own funky nature. A Social State is a Scranton staple whom one reviewer styled as delivering “fairly adventurous rock songs with a slower, indie edge…a strong emphasis on craft and musicianship [as well as] ambitious choruses and thoughtful songwriting, both sonically and thematically.”
