Leo is having the worst week of his life. His board game Kickstarter, the one that was finally going to make him, is currently at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean along with his savings, his insurance paperwork, and most of his dignity. Trevor, his roommate and best friend, has just finished the last of the milk and left every cabinet door in the kitchen hanging open...

Then a package arrives that nobody ordered. Inside is a board game called Sandglass and a card that reads: to be played only by Leo and Trevor, in a single sitting.

Trevor unboxes it live on his Twitch channel, because of course he does. By the time either of them understands it isn't a gag gift, the front door won't open, the die is too hot to hold, and something in the apartment has started keeping time.

Sandglass is a horror-comedy about two men who met on their first day of college, have been in each other's lives ever since, and have never once talked about the thing that matters most. It is also a play about a bathrobe, a shopping list, and a pair of kitchen cabinet doors.
