Sean, an insecure software genius, lies to aspiring screenwriter, Jasmine, about knowing Matt Damon. This witty romantic comedy follows Sean's escalating attempts to turn his fiction into reality. When his charade eventually collapses, he must choose authenticity over image and finally find his true voice.

"Finding Matt Damon" is an original screenplay by Duane Granston, presented in part by the Maslow Family Graduate Program in Creative Writing at Wilkes University. 


A staged reading of a portion of the screenplay will take place on Saturday, October 10 at 3 p.m. at the Black Scranton Project Cultural Center at 1902 N. Main Ave. in Scranton. The reading will run approximately 60 minutes with a brief talkback to follow. 


Tickets are $15 and are available through scrantonfringe.org
