The Taking Up Space Film Festival seeks works created by or centering BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) voices. For 2025, films of all lengths and genres—documentary, narrative, animation, experimental—are welcome. This curated festival uplifts historically excluded stories, and all selections are made by a jury of BIPOC filmmakers and creatives. Co-presented by Park Multimedia, Black Scranton Project, Scranton Films, and Scranton Fringe. Free and open to all to attend!
